Quandify's Water Grip is a smart product with a universal pipe solution. It works on pipe sizes ranging from 16-32 mm for plastic pipes and 15-28 mm for copper pipes.

2. How many leak sensors do I need?

If you live in a house, you typically only need one Water Grip. Because it is placed on the water inlet pipe in your house, it will monitor all pipes in the home. 

3. Do I need a plumber to install it?

No, traditional water safety devices, like water shut off valves, require plumbers to install. Water Grip on the other hand requires no plumber and can be installed by anyone within a few minutes.

4. Where in the home should I place the Water Grip?

Quandify's Water Grip can be used locally in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room or any other space. It can also be placed on the water inlet pipe in the home, where it can alert to all leaks.

The local placement will alert to leaks in that particular space, e.g. leak in the kitchen. Placing it on the water inlet pipe will alert to any and all leaks.

5. How does Water Grip leak detector work?

If a leak is detected by Quandify's clamp-on water monitor, the smart product will automatically alert you through the app. It will display a notification and alarm so that you can quickly address the leak.

Quandify's Water Grip is an ultrasonic smart product that measures water flow, temperature and leaks. It monitors the water pipe that it is set on, to detect any early signs of leaks. Compared to a simple water sensor that can be placed on the floor,

Quandify's smart water monitor can find and alert when leaks are discovered in the pipe, before it turns into a leakage. This contributes to reduced water damage claims and water damages in general.

Quandify’s Water Grip uses ultrasonic technology to detect leaks instead of relying on water temperature. This enables precise measurements and superior security against leaks that can turn into water damage.

Because it also measures temperature, it can alert to corrosion and freezing, two of the main causes of pipe bursts.

The Water Grip is versatile and can be powered by both battery and USB-C.
